United States – On Wednesday, the speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives – Mike Johnson, said that they would be publishing the findings of four putting aid towards Ukraine, Israel, and the Indo-Pacific “soon today,” while they will be publishing more takes aim towards Russia, China, and Iran later on with the day.

Aid Package to Address National Security Interests

On keeping the members of the House posted Johnson sent a text saying that the House Rules Committee would also post texts on the bill related to border security and that the House would have a final passage lean on Saturday evening to provide some room for debates and amendments, as reported by Reuters.

About two months and a half months after breaking the aid package that costs $95 billion and enjoys overwhelming support of 70 percent by the Senate into smaller separate bills, Johson announced Monday his plan to introduce an aid package with provisions not included in the earlier bill.

In his speech on Wednesday, Johnson explained that the three bills “will fund America’s national security interests and allies in Israel, the Indo-Pacific, and Ukraine, including a loan structure for aid, and enhanced strategy and accountability.”

Additional Measures Target Russia, China, and Iran

According to him, the fourth bill will include the REPO Act, the TikTok bill, and the sanctions legislation. A lack of substance was his main issue, as reported by Reuters.

The REPO Act would be just the first step in de-panting and disinfecting Russian assets, which would be, in turn, handed to Ukraine. The U.S. House passed a bill in March that could give TikTok, a Chinese video app, and its owner ByteDance about six months to sell the U.S.-based assets or face even a ban.
