United States: At a campaign-style rally on Sunday night, President-elect Donald Trump celebrated his upcoming first day in office with bold promises and a whirlwind of executive actions.

From pledging to restore TikTok to declassifying files on 1960s assassinations, Trump made it clear that his second term will be all about delivering on his 2024 campaign vows. And in a move, that’s sure to raise eyebrows, he hinted at pardoning Capitol rioters who played a role in the 2020 election unrest.

‘Everything is going to be published.’

As reported by CNN, Trump vowed to release all the materials classified by the JFK files, his brother RFK and the African American civil rights activist MLK, and “other important topics” as well.

‘Everything is going to be let out’, he said to his supporters.

TikTok is back’

It was clear Trump relished in the moment of boasting taking the credit of the return of TikTok online just hours of the app being forced to shut down following a new law banning it in the US.

“TikTok tonight is back,” Trump said, as he boasted of the number of young people among his supporters, who use the app belonging to the Chinese company.

‘Fun watch television tomorrow’.

Discussing executive orders, Trump introduced an appealing plan for the first days in presidency stating that he rejected the suggestions of his assistant who told him it would be better to sign executive orders in a week’s intervals starting after the inauguration.

I remember someone told me yesterday, ‘Sir, you are signing too many (executive actions), why don’t you spread it out over a period of weeks?’ I said, ‘Like hell we’re going to do it over weeks, we’re going to sign them at the beginning,” Trump said. Some of you will have lots of documents to sign later, there is nothing to be anxious about it. It’s not going to stop.”

‘We secured an amber alert monumental ceasefire deal’

While Joe Biden is still in the White House, Trump boasted of an Israeli-Hamas truce to release Israeli hostages, stating that “this has only been possible due to the record victory in November.”

Hamas and its allies have released the first of 33 Israeli hostage or swap, three of them have been freed in Gaza almost immediately. As the balance 90 Palestinian prisoners and detainees were released, the Israel Prison Service declared.
