United States – Harris has been in the race for U. S. president for just over a month and has already garnered USD 540 million in campaign contributions, including USD 48 million during the week of the Democratic National Convention, her campaign said on Sunday, as reported by Reuters.
A memo sent by the campaign manager of Harris’ team highlighted that the USD 540 million with USD 82 million received in the convention week is the confirmation that the Democrats support Harris’ candidacy.

Unprecedented Support Within a Short Timeframe
“This is the most ever for any presidential campaign in this time span,” she said.
Harris became a candidate for president on July 21 when Mr. Biden chose to step aside under pressure exerted by fellow Democrats who were worried about his cognitive fitness, especially after he fumbled during a June 27 debate against his Republican rival, Mr. Trump.
Campaign Energy and Strategy
The Harris candidacy has brought an energy that seems to have put Trump on the back foot, but he has failed to keep the media focused on him, as reported by Reuters.
Harris and her running partner, Tim Walz, pack their campaign for the White House on a bus to Georgia this week to garner support in a state central to the Nov. 5 election.
