Former Fashion CEO Arrested on Sex Trafficking Charges

United States: Mike Jeffries, the former CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch, and two associates have been arrested on charges of sex trafficking.

Sources told CNN that the indictment included over a dozen counts between 2008 and 2015.

It claims A&F recruited aspiring male models for sex-themed parties, where the men were allegedly given drugs, alcohol, and Viagra to perform sex acts.

Jeffries was CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch from 1992 to 2014.

Jeffries’ attorney, Brian Bieber, said they would make a statement once appropriate – after the indictment is unsealed.

He also said they won’t make that statement to the media but “plan to do so in the courthouse.”

Jeffries and one associate are set to appear in federal court in Florida today, with the third in Wisconsin. They’ll be arraigned in New York at a later date.

Last year, suspicions arose regarding Jeffries after a BBC investigation into him and his partner, Matthew Smith, for allegedly using a middleman to recruit and exploit young men.

Numerous men filed lawsuits against Jeffries and Abercrombie & Fitch, claiming the former CEO used his position to exploit and mistreat them.

The company expressed that it was “appalled” by the allegations and has initiated an independent investigation.

I mean, can anyone really be shocked and appalled by these allegations with words like this from A&F:

“We go after the attractive all-American kid with a great attitude and a lot of friends.”

Abercrombie has a long history of provocative marketing targeted at young teens. Additionally, we can’t forget the celebrities—such as Channing Tatum, Ashton Kutcher, Jennifer Lawrence, and Taylor Swift—who have modeled for the brand.

Could any of them have known about, witnessed, or even been involved in any of this?

Epstein, Cosby, Weinstein, Diddy, and now this beloved ’90s teen fashion brand—there’s something deeply wrong with the culture.

Do you believe Hollywood and the fashion industry know about these predators and say nothing?
