United States: In the early hours of Wednesday, former President Donald Trump addressed his supporters at his campaign headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida, proclaiming victory in the presidential race. A few hours later, CBS News announced that Trump had seemingly gathered enough electoral votes to secure the presidency.

Standing beside him were his family members and his running mate, Senator JD Vance.

“It’s an immense privilege to once again hold the trust of the American people as your 47th president, following my term as the 45th,” Trump stated. “To every American citizen, I pledge to advocate tirelessly for you, your families, and your aspirations. Every day, with every ounce of my strength, I will strive for you,” according to ABC News.

Trump emphasized that America had delivered a “resounding and formidable mandate,” highlighting the Republican reclamation of the Senate.

“We are about to usher in an era of unmatched prosperity and strength for this nation,” he declared.

Though his speech touched lightly on policy, Trump assured that fortifying the nation’s borders would be a top priority. He extended gratitude to his campaign team and supporters, specifically acknowledging billionaire Elon Musk for his contributions in recent months.

Senator Vance echoed this sentiment, saying, “With President Trump at the helm, our fight for your dreams and the future of your children will be relentless. Following one of the most extraordinary political comebacks in history, we’re poised to lead the country into an equally extraordinary economic revival,” as per ABC News.

Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris had been expected to appear at her alma mater, Howard University, to mark Election Night. However, as the night drew on, her campaign co-chair, Cedric Richmond, informed the gathered crowd that Harris would refrain from addressing supporters until at least Wednesday. Harris remained at the vice president’s residence in Washington DC.

Trump’s supporters gathered in West Palm Beach, and they were in high spirits Tuesday evening as the results unfolded, with Fox News playing in the background. Notable figures, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Senator Marco Rubio, and North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, were in attendance.

Having repeatedly questioned the integrity of the electoral process, Trump was largely reserved on social media as the results seemingly turned in his favor.

As the campaigning chapter neared its close, Trump remarked, “After hundreds of rallies, this journey concludes here. Imagine – no more rallies,” according to
